First it was Romaine lettuce... now ground beef.
There's a massive ground beef recall. More than 12 million pounds of ground beef has been recalled amid salmonella outbreak. So far there have been 246 cases of people getting sick in 26 different states.
The brands in question are Kroger, Cedar Farms and Showcase.
Affected products have the establishment number "EST. 267" stamped inside the USDA mark of inspection. The USDA also said that these products may be frozen so check your freezers and throw away any beef impacted by the recall!
I feel bad for my coworker... she just made a tater tot casserole for the first time. Hopefully she won't have to throw it all away!
