Recall ALERT!
A recall has been issued for Fresh Express brand Sunflower Crisp Chopped Kit over E. coli. It was triggered by findings during its investigation into a food-borne illness outbreak, adding they may recall other products.
All packages bearing a best before date up to and including Decemeber 7, 2019 and a lot code beginning with "Z" and indicating "Salinas" as a source of Romaine lettuce were affected.
I always like to grab these salads at the grocery store because it's an easy lunch... I DIDN'T buy this brand. However, I did buy a different brand of a Sunflower Chopped Kit. I checked my label and it says I'm good. Do I risk it and eat it or toss it?
Probably toss it, huh?
