Maddie & Tae Star's Daughter Has 'Priceless' Reaction To Seeing Mom On TV

Maddie & Tae shared a heartwarming reaction to the duo’s recent performance on the TODAY show.

Maddie Font and Taylor Kerr performed “Chasing Babies & Raising Dreams,” which appears on their new 16-track studio record, Love & Light. The album also includes “Heart They Didn’t Break,” “Free Like,” “Kissing Cowboys,” “What A Woman Can Do,” “Drunk Girls in Bathrooms,” “Sad Girl Summer” and more. Kerr’s daughter, Leighton Grace, who turned 3 in January, watched the TODAY performance and gushed, “that’s my mommy! …I love my mommy.”

Maddie & Tae shared the clip on TikTok on Tuesday (May 27). The duo wrote in the caption with a red heart emoji, “this truly is what it’s all about.” Commenters said the glimpse of Leighton Grace is “precious,” “sweet” and “priceless.”

Leighton Grace was the first Maddie & Tae baby to be born when she arrived early in January 2022. Since then, Font and her husband, Jonah Font, welcomed Baby No. 1. Son Forrest Henry was born in September 2023. Kerr and her husband, Josh Kerr, welcomed Baby No. 2, son Chapel Shields, in October 2024. Maddie & Tae featured their families in the “Chasing Babies & Raising Dreams” music video that premiered earlier this month. Watch it here:
