TikTok is great at coming up with new ways to solve the minor annoyances in life.
Here's another life hack that's going viral and it's actually helpful as opposed to that ridiculous "Chicken NyQuil" thing.
Someone posted a video of how to make cold butter instantly more spreadable, and it doesn't involve heating it up.
Instead of using a knife, use a handheld STRAINER.
In the video, they use one of those small strainers with a tight, metal mesh. So, a "fine-mesh" strainer, not a plastic one.
If you drag the bottom of it across a cold stick of butter, the butter comes through the top and collects there.
So you end up with a pile of thin strands of butter that are much easier to spread.
