Five Things to Look Forward to in November

Halloween closes out October today, which means we start a new month tomorrow!

Here are five things to look forward to in November...

 

1. Daylight Saving Time ends this Sunday. So we gain an hour of sleep tomorrow night.

 

2. In sports: 

  • The Toronto Blue Jays have a chance to win the World Series TONIGHT. If the Dodgers force a Game 7, they'll play tomorrow in Toronto to decide it all. 
  • The new NBA season is just getting started
  • The MLS playoffs are underway

 

 

3. A few big movie sequels hit theaters:  

  • "Now You See Me: Now You Don't" on the 14th
  • "Wicked: For Good" on the 21st
  • "Zootopia 2" on the 26th

Some others you might want on your radar include: 

  • The historical drama "Nuremberg" on the 7th
  • Action comedy "Playdate" hits Amazon Prime Video on the 12th
  • The new adaptation of "The Running Man" will be released on the 14th

 

 

 4. On TV: 

  • The fifth and final season of "Stranger Things" hits Netflix on the 26th
  • New episodes of "Sesame Street" are also coming to Netflix on the 10th
  • Season Three of "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" is out on Hulu on the 13th
  • The 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on November 8th and will stream live on Disney+
  • "The 59th Annual CMA Awards" will air live on ABC on November 19th

 

 

5. And finally, the holidays: The big ones are Veterans Day on the 11th, and Thanksgiving on the 27th.

 

 

But here are a few more to look forward to: 

  • Monday is National Sandwich Day
  • National Happy Hour Day is the 12th
  • The 13th is World Kindness Day
  • Black Friday is on the 28th.  (Cyber Monday falls on December 1st.)
