Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
Today was my first time participating in Dr. Seuss Read Across America Day. I had the pleasure of reading Dr. Seuss's 'Book of Colors' to multiple classrooms at Chavez Elementary in Madison.
Kids are so cute. Every classroom I went into, I'd obviously introduce myself, then they'd ask a few questions at the end. A little girl asked me today "how long have you been narrating the radio?" It literally made me LOL.
There were quite a few of us guest readers you'd be familiar with! Maynard the Mallard and Becca Hamilton who competed in the Winter Olympics was there to read to the kids as well!
