Yesterday I spent the 4th of July with my mom! We had plans to spend the day at Lake Wingra to go kayaking and get some sun at the beach. We definitely should've planned our day better.... Our day started at 10A when we arrived at Lake Wingra to find out that the beach was closed. HUGE BUMMER. Then, we used the Google machine to find other beaches we could post up at. Well that list was extremely small... we spent an hour (maybe more) trying to think of where to go. Thankfully my friend MacKenzie let us crash her pool on the West Side.
So YOU don't run into the same dilemma, here are a list of beaches still closed today:
