I swear if the word "challenge" is associated with something, kids will try it.
You're familiar with the "Tide Pod Challenge." Now there's a new challenge that teens are doing called the "Hot Water Challenge" or "Boiling Water Challenge." It's where people pour hot/boiling water on themselves, someone else or drink it through a straw.
This week an Indianapolis 15-year-old boy, Kyland Clark, suffered second-degree burns are a friend reportedly dumped a bucket of boiling water on him as part of the #hotwaterchallenge. When Clark fell asleep, his friend took it upon himself to attempt the challenge as a joke. "I looked down at my chest, and my skin just fell off my chest," he told Fox59.
