WHAT A WHIRLWIND WEEKEND.
After my shift on Friday morning, I went to the Madison airport to catch a flight to St. Louis to see Brett Eldredge, Devin Dawson and Abby Anderson perform on 'The Long Way Tour.' St. Louis was so pretty! I did the touristy thing and took a pic in front of the arch.
THEN I WENT AXE THROWING WITH BRETT ELDREDGE. WHAT IS LIFE?! I had never gone axe throwing before so I made a fool of myself, naturally. We started with an axe, then a star, and then a metal card! There's a whole technique on how you actually get these things to stick to the target.
After I discovered my new hobby, we went to a steakhouse for dinner with Devin Dawson. We talked about his album "Dark Horse" and what's been inspiring him to write new music. Once we were done with dinner, our group took a carriage ride to the venue--which made me feel like a princess. I also wanted to bring Bill the horse home with me...
We got to the venue and saw Brett Eldredge, Devin Dawson and Abby Anderson put on an AMAZING show. Fast forward to Saturday morning, I had to catch a flight back to Madison which was COMPLETE chaos. Ask me about that another time...
I got back to Madison and went straight from the airport to our VIP Bud Light Tailgate Party on Regent Street! I had to leave the tailgate early to go to The Sylvee to see Kip Moore, Jordan Davis and Jillian Jacqueline for the 'After The Sunburn Tour.' HOLY SMOKESSSSS it was amazing.
This whole weekend seemed a little surreal. In 24 hours I hung out with Brett Eldredge, Devin Dawson, Abby Anderson, Jillian Jacqueline, Jordan Davis and Kip Moore. Somebody pinch me.
