Toy Story was one of my FAVORITE movies as a kid. Still is!
You'll notice in the upcoming 'Toy Story 4' movie that Chris Stapleton's angelic voice will be featured in a song. He lends his voice to the end-credit version of "The Ballad of the Lonesome Cowboy," which is an original song from the upcoming movie. It's sung from Woody's perspective about the rewards of opening yourself up to form long lasting relationships with others.
Chris Stapleton said to Rolling Stone:
To me what has made the Toy Story films hold up over time has been the strength of the stories and the songs and the writing and the characters. There's something for people of all ages to enjoy in the world that is Toy Story.
Remember the song "You've Got A Friend in Me?" Well the same person, Randy Newman, wrote this one too. Toy Story 4 is out on June 20th!
