You'd think posing with a dog in your Bumble / Tinder pictures is a smart way to get people interested, right? The question people are asking is... is it false advertising?
There's a new dating term: DOGFISHING. It's when someone poses for their dating profile pics with a dog or another pet that isn't theirs. An online dating coach in D.C. says you shouldn't do it, "It's just odd when you're using someone else's dog online, and it seems like you're trying too hard."
I don't agree with this 100%. I'm not intentionally posting pics of myself with my friends dogs. I just love their pups and happen to have pics with them.
