Starting today the 100 block of South Pinckney Street will be closed to traffic to expand seating into the streets. It's called the "Cafe Zone" to allow businesses to welcome more guests. It is part of Madison's "Streatery Restaurant Recovery Program." This will allow restaurants to temporarily expand outdoor seating onto the public sidewalks, on-street parking areas or in privately-owned parking lots.
Restaurants that will be participating include Merchant, Lucille, Jonny Delmonicos, and the Settle Down Tavern.
I saw that Lucille shared the setup on Instagram. Look how cuuuute! I can't wait to go down there this weekend.
