Here are the top ten best states for road trips:

- Minnesota
- Utah
- Illinois
- Michigan
- Wisconsin
On the other end of the spectrum, the following are the ten worst states for summer road trips:
- Rhode Island
- Delaware
- Connecticut
- Hawaii
- Arkansas
- Montana
- Alabama
- New Mexico
- Mississippi
- New Jersey
I'm surprised that Hawaii is on the bottom of the spectrum... I mean I guess I understand because it's expensive and it's an island... but it sure looks beautiful!
