The FDA just announced a recall of Dole Fresh blueberries due to possible cyclospora parasite contamination. The good news is that there hasn't been illnesses reported so far...
The FDA warns against consuming any of the berries and says to discard them immediately because a nasty intestinal infection could come next. Symptoms would include severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, body aches and fatigue.
Recalled products were packed between May 28th and June 9th and were shipped to Wisconsin, New York, Maine, Illinois and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. Get more from the FDA here.
