How To Get Your Eating Back on Track After the Weekend

Vacations, celebrations and weekend parties make it difficult to eat healthy all the time. It's good to indulge from time to time (everyone does it!) but sooner or later the constant chips and endless pizza has to stop. Here are four tips from nutritionists that can help you get back on track:

  1. Don’t wait to be healthy - After days of eating and drinking excessively, it's easy to think it's too late to start being healthy again. But actually, the sooner you start practicing healthy habits, the quicker and easier it'll be to snap back into a different mindset. So, start now!
  2. Log what you eat - Tracking the food you eat is a great way to hold yourself accountable after days of eating poorly.
  3. Drink lots of water - Eating lots of salt lead to bloating in the body, so by upping your water intake you can help get rid of all the extra salt in your body. Plus, it's always good to be hydrated!
  4. Load up on fruits and veggies - Processed food is easy to consume without really realizing it, so make a conscious effort to eat food that is fresh. The more colorful, the better!
