Cody Alan is already a highly respected radio and TV personality, and now he is adding 'author' to his resume.
Announcing the title of his first book, 'Hear's The Thing,' Cody plots to share his story of being a southern-born family man who has navigated interviewing the biggest names in music while overcoming struggles behind the scenes. Through his experiences and keen dedication to listening, Cody acknowledges pivotal discoveries about love, loss, self-confidence, courage, and human connection. Moreover, 'Hear's The Thing' shows that the art of listening might be the loudest way to speak your truth.
"It might seem strange for a guy who talks for a living to write a book about shutting up and listening," says Cody. "But I've discovered that in a world of noise, with so many voices talking, we could learn a lot by stopping to listen. Not just listening to others, but also to ourselves. I thought it would be fun to share stories from my personal journey, country music adventures, and experienced insights on what I've learned about life, career, and love from listening."
'Hear's The Thing' will hit the shelves on October 19, 2021, and will be published by Harper Horizon, an imprint of Harper Collins. Cover art will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Cody will be revealing additional details about his book in a LIVE Q&A livestream happening on June 29 at 8ET/7CT on Talk Shop Live. Mark your calendars and join the conversation by clicking HERE.
