Chinese filmmaker Yi Zhou has accused Jeremy Renner of sending her “intimate” photos, drunkenly yelling at her for hours, and threatening to “call ICE” after their relationship and collaboration fell apart. Zhou, who directed “Chronicles of Disney,” shared claims on social media that Renner first pursued her romantically in June, sending sexual gifs and promising a “long-term relationship.”
She says they later began working together, but he refused to promote their project and turned hostile when she confronted him about his behavior. Zhou told the “Daily Mail” she once had to “lock [herself] in a room” during a drunken outburst, saying she was “scared for [her] life.”
She shared screenshots and messages allegedly showing his threats, including one where he wrote, “Immigration will be notified.” Renner’s rep has denied all allegations, calling them “totally inaccurate and untrue.” Renner has now taken legal action against Zhou, sending her a cease and desist letter claiming she spread “salacious lies” and exploited his name after their “brief consensual encounter.”
