Fights That Mentally And Emotionally Stubborn Couples Replay Over And Over!

Having a lot of jobs on your resume has long been thought to be a red flag for employers, but a new Harvard Business Review study is shaking that notion up. According to the study of hedge fund managers, job hoppers who made four or more job moves over a 15-year period were more adaptable than their colleagues who didn’t make as many moves. Here’s where the job hoppers outpaced everyone else: they were practiced at entering unfamiliar organizations, learning new systems, and navigating new cultures. The study stresses “hiring managers should recognize that while frequent moves can indicate familiar risks, they can also signal a critical asset: the ability to become productive…and add value…far more quickly in a new organizational context.”

The Fights That Mentally And Emotionally Stubborn Couples Replay Over And Over: Some couples are in an infinite loop of having the same fights over and over. “Your Tango” says it’s because the mentally & emotionally stubborn couples are in denial. Here are the most common fights these couples have on repeat:

  • They try to fix each other’s feelings
  • Stubborn couples often know how to just talk and not listen
  • Couples like this avoid talking about how they feel
  • Emotionally stubborn couples silently resent each other
  • They gaslight each other
  • Mentally & emotionally stubborn couples are incompatible but refuse to admit it
