Wisconsin got it to within 53-50 late against Michigan, but the Wolverines pulled away in the final minute to beat the Badgers 61-52 in Ann Arbor on Saturday.
Michigan's win means the teams split the regular-season series.
Ethan Happ was the only Badger who scored in double figures, with 18 points, while also adding 11 rebounds for a double-double. Brad Davison and Nate Reuvers each scored nine points in the loss.
Michigan got three players into double figures, led by Charles Matthews with 18 points, most of the damage coming after halftime for the second-ranked Wolverines.
The loss snaps a six-game winning streak for Wisconsin which began with their upset win over Michigan in January.
